Greater Houston Partnership requested a brand identity that would accurately represent the new Houston – a city that had grown into the most diverse city in the nation. Diversity and possibilities. These were the foundation of a dynamic campaign designed to communicate all that Houston offers. Additionally, the campaign needed to attract intellectual talent to move to Houston. , So, we created the The City With No Limits campaign.
Houston is an unappreciated city. Research showed that people coast-to-coast didn't have an accurate perception of the city.
The City With No Limits was created to change those opinions. To drive awareness and educate people everywhere about the plethora of options found here. Thus, the brand mark we created needed to be as flexible, as dynamic, as limitless as the city itself. No matter what you love about this city, this brand mark system allowed beautifully themed marks for that love.
National Talent attraction campaign
To represent the city we selected a handful of people that are well known for their work in the local communities. Then created ads that illustrated what each person loves about Houston.
I art directed the photography and hand lettered each ad to fit each individual. The campaign was launched inside Reliant Stadium with city leaders.
